From Kasargod we said bye to Kerala & proceeded towards Udupi, Karnataka. We bypassed Mangalore as we had been there in our earlier driving tour of Karnataka & we had little interest in tall buildings & big malls compared to tall trees & green jungles!
Udupi was a sweet surprise as it is nice town with lots of options of hotels & restaurants. This place has medical & many technical colleges & has a metropolitan touch. Free cool sea breeze supply is assured round the clock here!
Suggestions from local people made us visit Murudeshwara which turned out to be more than we had wished for. More on Murudeshwara Temple shall follow in next photo-blog. Here are some random pics taken on the way before finding shelter for the night in Murudeshwara.
